“ I hired a kayak from constable park. It was very nice afternoon out, customer service was excellent. I went on a weekday so it wasn't as busy as the weekends but it still was very nice. The staff are really lovely. It's a lovely atmosphere and when you get on the river it's so peaceful. It's for children and adults and you can camp there and it's a really nice, place to be. I highly recommend it, if you like water sports, x ”

“ A large group of us have just spent the weekend glamping at Constable park and had the most wonderful time! Since booking a year ago Sarah coordinated it so the booking and payment was super easy for everyone in our party. She allowed me to visit and ask lots of questions along the way! Great location and facilities, we pitched a volley ball net which was great fun and took our own paddle boards and hired kayaks. Constable park also allowed us to borrow extra lifejackets which was much appreciated to enable us all to get on the water. One night we ordered pizzas from the cafe pizza oven and the team went above and beyond to accommodate us indoors at the last minute when the rain descended on us! Would highly recommend and we will definitely all be back! Glamping tents and cooking areas were all very well equipped. ”

“ Lovely little find for us. Great atmosphere with lovely food. The setting on the river is great. We had the "Constable Savoury Board" and a coffee each, which was perfect. Quite busy, which, in my opinion, is a recommendation in itself, so booking is advisable but people were walking and getting tables without. Service with a smile. Dog friendly (outside tables) Complimentary water carafe ( some places would have charged) Will be back again soon ”
“ I hosted a baby shower at Constable Park last weekend for 14 people - the food was delicious and looked stunning too! It all came quickly once we’d sat down and ordered drinks - very impressed, especially as there was so many of us. Sarah also accommodated our decorations and extra table for presents - very grateful and would recommend for a special occasion or even just lunch! ”
“ We went for an impromptu lunch and found it was very busy. However we were quickly found a table in a quieter spot and the atmosphere with the families around us was lovely. The service and food was excellent as usual and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal together. We had the sausage roll, scone with cream and jam and for me the gluten free salmon and cream cheese bagel. Then we enjoyed taking in the scenery before we left. ”
“ We booked a camping pitch for Friday night! We took our own tent. We were pitched right next to the river with a wonderful view. The shower and toilet facilities were clean and tidy as well as providing a great washing up facility with plenty of washing up liquid. Just next to our pitch was a jetty for the people staying at Constable park so it was easy to launch our Paddleboards. Thank you, we can’t wait to return! ”
